    TELESTAR SRS 1 - STx 5118 ALB Cpu - Sst M29W160ET (2MB) Flash

    Dear friends it is possible to modify this 2MB firmware (Pbi-Fedtec) to add an extra EMU working section? This firmware is similar to those of "ID Sat Free 1003" and "FairMate FTA 5501" receivers. What software I need to do this job and edit the 2MB .bin file?

    Does it exixsts already a 'patched' firmware I can download into this receiver or is it 'clone' of similar receivers? Maybe Vestel? Tnx a lot.

    @effesse welcome our forum now is not posible to decript any dvb channel with emulator firmwares now emu only work with old crypted systems version and dvb channels where not change k ey
    now we use cardsharing servers with cardsharing supported dvb stb's
    if you want edit your stb firmware need use
    st20 dcu toolset look more informatin about st dcu toolset soft. in google

    im not sure this dcu toolset soft. working with new sti5xxx mpeg2 processors

    trick for clone any dvb stb you need look flash dump file for jtag, flash eeprom programmer,
    with same mpeg2 processor, audio/video switch ic or circuit, rf tuner and test it with your stb

      Thank you very much Fullcontrol, do you know how I can Jtag with 10 pin header and St20run? Does it exist a .lku made for Sst M29W160ET (16mbit/2Mbyte) and Stx5118alb (Sti5105 clone)? Can you help me almost reading via uCtap JTAG software? I'm actually able to read with uCtap and St20Run the 1st 64kbyte of flash (bootloader).

      Please I need your help a little bit more! I desold my TSOP 48 pin flash and reprogram it with Willem v3.1b modded by myself. The receiver starts again but after that I put the wrong loader because I thought my receiver was similar to Sti5119alb/M29W160ET (Faval S100 with uncompressed firmware). Now it stays dead with only Green led on! Please try to help me friendly erasing and rewriting atleast the 1st 64kbyte of my flash! :-(

        sorry i dont have more idea about new stb st5xxx mpeg processors and jtag pin out you need find same of stb telestar and backup flash dump file and redump your stb
